Budgeting

Corporate budgeting is typically an annual exercise that needs to incorporate all aspects of the business. It needs to be bought into by all departments, and the right metrics need to be established and agreed by all, for financial management and for progress tracking.

Forecasting

Forecasting is often done quarterly, but if the process is automated, it can easily be done monthly. This enhances executive visibility into financial progress on a continual basis allowing for quick but necessary adjustments, when needed.

Financial Modeling

Creating an accurate financial model for the company, the products, incorporating the appropriate business model is instrumental to being able to having meaningful multi-year projections that are often needed for raising investment funds and adjusting the long term corporate strategy.

Magnous Consulting provides the services of Mag Saad (and possibly other resources) in multiple disciplines including Program Management, Portfolio Management, Startup Operation Management, Process Management .. and more.

Even though the main consulting services are offered by Mag Saad, Mag is supported by back-office resources that take care of invoicing, accounting, legal and other back-office functions, enabling Mag to focus almost exclusively on the client needs. 

Magnous consulting also works with affiliate consultants who can be brought in to the client as needed. These affiliates are independent consultants who have previously worked with Magnous Consulting.

Yes, Magnous Consulting (and Mag personally) have invested in several startup companies, if they satisfy the expected due diligence. 

Most of Magnous Consulting engagements have been based on Time & Material contracts, but Magnous is prepared to work on Fixed-price projects if the scope is very well-defined.

We typically start by assessing the current state, understanding the pain points and evaluating contributing factors. We then recommend the metrics that are most critical to measure and improve on and establish benchmarks. Once agreed, we then work with the client team to come up with the best possible improvements that would address the pain points, support the strategy and deliver quick wins. We then illustrate the achieved improvements through metrics (KPIs) and move on to the next set of pain points, repeating the cycle.
